Job Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate students' academic, emotional, and behavioral needs.
Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and intervention plans.
Provide counseling and support services to students individually or in groups to address social, emotional, and behavioral challenges.
Serve as a resource to teachers and staff members, offering strategies and recommendations for managing classroom behavior and promoting positive learning environments.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress, develop intervention strategies, and make appropriate referrals to outside agencies when necessary.
Monitor and track students' progress in response to interventions, adjusting strategies as needed to support their academic and emotional growth.
Provide crisis intervention and support to students and families during times of emotional distress or traumatic events.
